I was trekking guide for Everest base camp trekking since 1992 A.D. In this period I had been several different times to Everest base camp , Annapurna Base camp , Manaslu range and upper Mustang. But I like Manaslu and Everest base camp most.

Similarly, any one interesting to travel in  Nepal, I am recommended to Everest base camp and Manaslu range Because, Manaslu is more green valley and not crowded even though in high season, Off course Everest Base Camp is highest base camp of the world.

Everest base camp trekking is one of the frequently organized and most demanded trekking trails in Nepal. It is one of the classic trekking trails in Nepal. This is one of the most popular destinations in the world because the travelers are able to reach to the lap of the highest point of the earth, the Mt. Everest, 8,848 m and even have a summit on it. The trekking to Everest region has been popular in the world ever since, Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenjing Norgay for the first time made a successful summit on this highest peaks in 1953. Everest region is located in the north-east of the country in Solukhumbu district, the home of legendary and friendly Sherpa ethnic groups, who have earned their name and fame in the tourism sector primarily in the expedition.

Mt. Everest is famously known as Sagarmatha in Nepali and Chhumalungma in the Tibetan language lies between the Tibet and Nepal border, therefore, the travelers make expedition either from Tibet or from Nepal side. Everest trekking areas are protected by the Sagarmatha National Park which was established in 1976, covering an area of 1148 square kilometers. Everest base camp trekking usually consists of trekking in the high altitude area mostly covering above 3,000 m, and thus it is dobbed to be challenging trekking, however, it goes through the well-developed path otherwise, you can spend time around the low altitude areas basically exploring of scenic views of the mountains from a bit distance, exploring other cultural richness etc. The trekking to Everest base camp begins with short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla airport and then follows the classical route to Everest camp or begins with a day drive from Kathmandu to Bhandar (Earlier the trekking begins from the place called Jiri, but these days the bus available up to Bhandar, a gateway to Solukhumbu) and follows the classical route to the base camp. The trekking in this region can be shortened or extended as per the requirements and schedule of the travelers. After making the trips to the base camp, you will return back to Lukla airport and fly back to Kathmandu or walk up to Bhandar along the same route and return back to Kathmandu.

Langtang Valley Trekking

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to hotel.
Welcome to Nepal. Nepal Hiking Trekking company representative receives you at the airport and transfers you to the hotel. You will be given a short briefing about the programs on the following days. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi (1600m).
After the breakfast, drive to Syaphrubesi, exploring the mind-blowing countryside views, River Valleys and the Himalayan peaks of the Langtang region. Syaphrubesi is a gateway of the Langtang region and Gosaikunda Lake. Overnight at lodge.

Day 03: Trek to Lama Hotel (2470m).
The first day trek begins after the breakfast and head through the Langtang River bank. It is a gentle walk that offers the countryside green hill terraces that magnificently allure you to march forward. Langtang National Park, through which this trek goes, is rich in various flora and fauna, including the red panda and snow leopard. Lama Hotel is today’s destination. Overnight at lodge.

Day 04: Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430m).
From Lama Hotel, the journey begins, stepping through the gradual uphill trail, continually till you see the fluttering Buddhist prayer flags. The rhododendron forest does not let you feel the direct sun. The ethnic Tamang village at Langtang is a short walk away from Ghoda Tabela, which is a typical village with the preservation of the ancient culture and traditional way of living. Day 05: Trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3870m).
From Langtang village, the trail is few up and down, but the local lifestyle on the way is worth to explore. You can see the mani walls, Buddhist environment with colorful flags and the stone huts during the trek. Kyanjin village is also a spiritual center for all the Buddhist devotees throughout the Langtang region as it has got famous Kyanjin monastery. Overnight at lodge.

Day 06: Climb to Kyanjin Ri (4900 meters) and back to Kyangjin Gompa.
The morning begins with a wonderful breakfast. Packing the required foods and water, begin to hike towards the Tserko Ri. The majestic peaks of the langtang region and the Tibetan peaks comes to your eye-level. Langtang Lirung, Ghenchhenpo and other peaks are incredible. The day hike is more than a walk, but a wonderful exploration of this amazing landscape. Back to Kyanjin and rest. Overnight at lodge.

Day 07: Trek to Lama Hotel (2470m).
From Kyanjin, begin to trek down after the breakfast. The trail is almost downhill that is dotted by the rhododendron flower and oak trees. Langtang National Park is the home of Red Panda and Snow leopard. The trek is faster as the trail is just down and down. Overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Lama Hotel to Syabru Besi.
From Lama Hotel, it is a relax trekking day, gradually following the route of the Langtang Khola river after the breakfast. Exiting from the Langtang National Park, reach to Syaphrubesi and chill out the evening visiting the local market place. Overnight at lodge.

Day 09: Drive to Kathmandu.
With 7 hour bus drive, you reach to Kathmandu exploring the picturesque countryside vistas. Transferring in the hotel, you have the rest of the time for your personal use. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Farewell.
On your departure, our representative drops you are the airport. Thank you for letting us serve you. Have a nice trip ahead.
